"Beauty is not something that is done to you. It is something you discover within yourself.
My work is simply to help you see it."
— Victoria Blazhko

2009
The beginning
My Story
A girl from a small town
who fell in love with colour
I grew up in a family where my mom always did our hair before holidays.
I remember her braiding and saying: "Beauty is your mood that everyone can see."
Back then I didn't understand just how right she was.
At 19 I enrolled in cosmetology college — not because my parents decided so,
but because I couldn't picture myself anywhere else. First clients, first mistakes,
first tears of joy when someone looks in the mirror and smiles. I still chase
that feeling every single day.
A few years into practice I knew I wanted to specialise in colour.
Colour is a whole science and philosophy. You have to feel the shade, understand pigments,
truly see the person — not just their hair. I started training under the best masters
in Europe, attending international competitions and watching how the global beauty
industry works.
2009First day at work
An internship at a small salon. First client, first colour service, first lesson in patience — and an enormous love for the craft.
2012Specialising in colour
Advanced training with top colourists in Poland and Germany. Discovered balayage, free-hand techniques and the full world of professional colour.
2015Regional championship win
First place in Creative Colouring. The moment I understood I wasn't just a technician — I was an artist.
2018Opening the first studio
Beauty Shop For Yourself — a space where every client receives an individual approach, honest advice, and a genuine transformation.
2021Second studio — Beauty Room Blashko
A more intimate space for those who value quiet and full attention. Less noise, more focus on each person and their story.
2024Ravelloe is born
A blog that started with a desire to share knowledge — and became a place where people come for honest advice, inspiration, and real stories.
Why Ravelloe
Why does a colorist with two studios need a blog?
Everyone asked me that — friends, colleagues, even clients.
And I have an honest answer. Actually, several.
01
Because knowledge should be put to work
Over 15 years I've accumulated so much information about hair, care, colour and beauty
that keeping it only in my head feels like a real waste.
Ravelloe is a way to give all of that to the people who truly need it.
02
Because the internet is full of bad advice
I got tired of watching women ruin their hair following TikTok tips.
I wanted to create a place where information is verified by a practitioner
with real experience — not a blogger with a pretty picture.
03
Because beauty is a conversation
In the studio I have an hour and a half with a client. On the blog — as long as needed.
Here I can explain, tell the story, show the "why" and not just the "how."
It's a different kind of closeness with the reader.
04
Because I simply enjoy it
Honestly — I just love writing. I love finding words for things that previously
existed only in my hands and my head. Ravelloe is my creative space
outside the studio.
🎨Colour is an emotion
Every shade we choose for our hair is a statement.
I help people say exactly what they feel inside
but don't always know how to put into words.
🌿Beauty starts with care
No colour looks beautiful on damaged hair.
First comes health, condition, nourishment. Then — transformation.
This principle works in life just as much as in the salon.
💬Honesty over compliments
If a cut doesn't suit you — I'll say so. If a treatment will cause damage — I'll decline.
My clients come back not because I say "everything looks great,"
but because they trust me.
